

| Craft Training Program
Overview Elkhorn is committed to having a thoroughly trained, experienced and skilled work force. Our foundation of safety, productivity and quality is built on continuously acquiring knowledge, skills, abilities and experience through education, training and study. To encourage, invest in and convey confidence in each of our employee-owners, Elkhorn covers the cost of tuition, training materials, facilities and other resources. We also provide our trainees incentives, pay increases and promotions based on completion of training and good work habits.
Craft Training In our determination to develop and maintain a professional
workforce, we have established our craft training program according to the
requirements of the accrediting organization: National
Center of Construction Education and Research,
(NCCER) and the local chapter of the Associated
Builders and Contractors, which is our training unit sponsor. Our craft
training program also meets the requirements of the US Department of
Labor, the Bureau of Apprentice Training (BAT) and State Apprenticeship
Committees (SAC's), as well as other State organizations.
We also arrange specialized training for those who have specific job responsibilities not included in the WOL curricula. Leadership Team Training
