Elkhorn Construction, Inc. is a subsidiary of the 100% employee owned Elkhorn Holdings, Inc. and is a provider of industrial and plant construction and maintenance solutions to the oil, gas, power, and mining industries. It’s headquarters are located in Evanston, WY, with area offices in Bloomfield, NM, Rock Springs, WY, DeBeque, CO, Hartshorne, OK, Ft. Worth, TX, and Midland-Odessa, TX. Elkhorn Construction, Inc. is also the parent company of Dynamic Services, ProSafe, and is a sister company Elkhorn Holdings, Inc, wholly owned subsidiary Eagle Pipeline Construction, Inc and HOAD, Inc. and it's division HOAD Industrial Services.

Elkhorn was founded in Wyoming in 1984 by Ken Savage and Mike Jackson. From Elkhorn's meager beginnings, the company has grown to become admired and respected by customers for safety, integrity, quality, and performance. Elkhorn is unequivocally committed to working closely with their customers to ensure that all requirements are fully met at the lowest possible cost.

Elkhorn is a 100% employee owned company with over FIVE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY FIVE VESTED OWNERS and many more employees in various stages of vesting. As owners, all Elkhorn employees are committed to teaming with our customers and continuously improving the services they provide.

Operations

Elkhorn is a merit shop, single-source General Contractor with over 20 years of experience in the construction and maintenance of oil, natural gas, petrochemical facilities, and pipelines as well as fossil fuel power/steam plants and mining operations. Some examples of facilities built and/or maintained by Elkhorn include:

Mainline natural gas compression stations involving both large integrals and turbines
Natural gas field booster units comprised of both turbines and high speed engines driving skid mounted compressors
Facilities to process, transport, and store Natural Gas Liquids, Natural Gas, Gasoline / Diesel Products, and Chemicals
Cogeneration Facilities
Multi-unit power/steam plants
Mining maintenance operations

Elkhorn involvement ranges from turnkey construction to responsibility for a particular phase of a construction or maintenance project. Elkhorn combines safe and economical management of all phases of construction projects, additions, relocations, retrofits, turnarounds, maintenance, and custom fabrication, as well as fast-track construction projects. Elkhorn also provides contract services, such as safety training and site safety supervision, constructibility consulting, purchasing, cost control, estimating, and project management. Elkhorn projects have ranged in cost from tens of thousands of dollars to several million dollars.

Elkhorn enjoys a reputation of delivering accident free projects of the highest quality, on schedule, and within budget (often significantly under budget). As a result, the greatest percentage of Elkhorn's business is from repeat customers.

Elkhorn has an excellent safety record and is committed to ensuring a safe, drug-free environment for both it's employees and clients. Elkhorn's comprehensive drug screening and accident prevention program is supported by a full-time Safety Department.

Elkhorn's employee base varies depending on workload from over 1600 to as few as 1000. Many of our employees have been with the company for more than seven years.
